Detailed Itinerary: 3-Day Short Serengeti Safari Package

Day 01.

Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Pick up from your hotel/lodge in Arusha & depart for Serengeti National Park, the driving is along Masai steppe, many villages & across The Great East African Rift Valley where you can have brief stop for some magnificent views of Lake Manyara & its forest from the edge. Then drive up via beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu all the way to Norongoro main gate for check in. After you will drive up to Ngorongoro Crater view point for some nice picture of the crater floor from the rim.

After, drive to Serengeti & check in at Nabii Hills gate, then start your en-route & afternoon game drive in the wild rich Serengeti National Park with its endless rolling plains. you will be searching for big cats & The Great Wildebeest Migration (depending on traveling dates). However, Serengeti is still worth a visit with or without The Great Wildebeest Migration as it has a lot to offer. Spot many animal species which include herds of elephant, giraffe, zebra, warthog, buffalo, hippos, topi & many more.

Late afternoon during sunset drive to Tukaone Serengeti Camp in central Serengeti for dinner & overnight.

Day 2.

Full Day Game Drive in Serengeti

On this day as early as 06:30 with first sun rays leave the camp carrying breakfast box & lunch box for a full day game drive in the wild rich Serengeti National Park. An early morning game drive can allow you to spot cat family on the road as they try to avoid morning mist. you will also see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lioness organizing a morning ambush. Break for breakfast somewhere in the bush & after follow the Great wildebeest Migration & spend much time with them while anticipating to experience some animal actions like eating, fighting, hunting even killing.

Break for lunch at the picnic site or somewhere in the bush & after embark on your afternoon game drive. Late afternoon before or during sunset drive back to your camp for dinner & overnight.

Day 3.

Serengeti – Back to Arusha

On this day you can have another early morning game drive in Serengeti before staring your way back to Arusha. With en-route game drive you will drive via Ngorongoro Conservation Area & if you wish you can visit one of Masai village at Ngorongoro highlands. Arrive in Arusha at late afternoon & drop off at your hotel/lodge in Arusha.
