Brief Itinerary: 3 Days Short Selous Safari from Dar es Salaam
Day 1. Early morning pick up from your hotel/lodge in Dar es salaam & depart for Selous Game Reserve. Arrive at the lodge for hot lunch then afternoon game drive. Overnight at Selous Mapumziko Lodge or Similar. Lunch & Dinner included.
Day 2: As early as 06:30 depart the lodge with breakfast box for an early morning game drive in the vast Selous Game Reserve. Break for breakfast somewhere in the bush & proceed with game viewing until late noon where you will return for hot lunch & some rest before we take you for a breathtaking boat trip at Rufiji River. Late afternoon after sunset return to the shore & drive back to Selous Mapumziko Lodge for dinner, campfire & overnight.
Day 3. Early morning guided nature walk by a bushmen along park boundaries & across the village then back to the lodge for full breakfast before starting your way to Dar es Salaam. Arrive at late afternoon & drop of at your hotel? lodge for dinner & overnight (own account) or at Dar es Salaam international airport.

Detailed Itinerary: Best Short Selous Safari from Dar es Salaam
Day 01:
After early breakfast at your hotel/lodge in Dar es Salaam meet your safari driver guide & leave for Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere Ntional Park) the driving is on good tarmac road & along beautiful local farms & villages all the way to Kibiti town. You will have a brief stop at Kibiti town for washhroom before turning to the right & drive to Selous Game Reserve & to Selous Mapumziko Lodge for a quick check in.
At the lodge, you may deiced to have quick hot lunch or packed lunch & drive to the Park for an afternoon game drive where you can expect to spot herds of giraffe, African elephant, wildebeest, buffalo, zebra, warthog, hippos, lion, leopard, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas, crocodiles & if luck the rare wild dog. Late afternoon during or before sunset drive to Selous Mapumziko Lodge for dinner, campfire & overnight.

Day 02:
At 06:30 am after early breakfast or depart with packed breakfast & lunch box for an early morning game drive in the mightier Selous Game Reserve. Early morning game drive can allow you to spot cat families along the road as they try to avoid morning mist. You may also see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or waking up to start their new day in this great place, it is also possible to see a pride of lion eating along the road & many more actions. in the afternoon break for lunch, after lunch & some rest embark on your afternoon game drive & then en-route game drive toward your lodge.
At around 16:00 hrs drive or walk to the river bank for a breathtaking boat trip at Rufiji River where you can expect to see crocodiles & hippos up close. Lots of land & aquatic birds can also be seen during the trip. Return to the river back during sunset & back to the lodge for dinner, campfire & overnight.

Day 03:

At late morning return back to the lodge for full breakfast before starting your way back to Dar es salaam for drop at your lodge/hotel for dinner & overnight (own account) or at Dar es international airport if flying back home or to Zanzibar.
