DAY. 01:

Arrival Day

On arrival at Kilimanjaro international airport  or other entry point meet our representative & transfer an elegant Arusha Gran Melia Hotel for dinner & overnight

DAY. 02:

Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Distance: 139 km

Non – game viewing time: 2 to 3 hrs.

Pick up from your hotel/lodge in Arusha & depart for Tarangire National Park, the driving is along the Great Northern Highway & across Masai steppe & many village all the way to Tarangire gate. It will take you less than 10 minutes to finish all park formalities & start the first game drive of your safari.

Tarangire is Tanzania’s fifth largest National Park situated some few kilometers from the Great East African rift Valley. The park runs along lines of Tarangire River which is the main water source of the park. Its vegetation is comprises of acacia woodland, larger grassland with hills & open Savannah. Tarangire River, large elephant population & huge baobab trees are among the highlights of this Park.

Apart from elephant population the Park has variety of animal species and some rare breeds like the Fringed Eared Oryx, the Great Kudu & the Ash starling which is the rare species birds. You may also expect to sport herds of buffalo, zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, warthog & many antelopes. Predators are also there which include lion, hyenas, jackals & if lucky the leopard. Later afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Gran Melia Lodge at the Crater rim for dinner, campfire and overnight. You will have a brief stop at the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley for beautiful sunset watch & Great views of Lake Manyara & its forest.

DAY. 03:

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast as early as 06:30 with packed lunch drive up to Ngorongoro gate & around the Crater rim then descend over 600 meters high walls into the crater floor for wonderful game viewing. Ngorongoro Crater “The nature wonder of the world was formed some 3 million years ago due to some internal forces under the earth crust. Supported by yearly round water supply and enough fodder the

Ngorongoro conservation Area supports large number of animal species which include herds of buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, topi, warthog, hippos, African elephant & the rare black rhino.

Another big draw card at this unique natural animal sanctuary, is the dense population of predators which include lion, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas & the ever-elusive leopard which sometimes need binoculars eye to spot. The tour will also take you to Lake Magadi a large but shallow alkaline Lake in the southwestern corner, frequently visited by hippos, flamingos & other aquatic birds.

In the afternoon depart for Serengeti National Park across Malanja depression all the way to Naabi hills gate for check into Serengeti National Park. In the afternoon game drive in the vast Serengeti Plains searching for some big cats & herds wildebeest, Zebra, buffalo, giraffe, warthog, elephant etc. Late afternoon during or before sunset drive to Four Seasons Serengeti Safari Lodge for dinner, campfire & overnight.

DAY. 04 & 05:

2 Full Day Serengeti Wildebeest Migration Safari including Hot Air Balloon Safari

On 08. Aug. as early as 05:00 hours in the morning leave the lodge for Serengeti Hot air balloon over the vast Serengeti Plains. It is a 2 hours hot air balloon then land in the bush for bush breakfast & some champagne for celebration before your safari driver guide meet you & proceed with game drive in the Serengeti. Spend much time of game drive in the Serengeti following the Great migration herds, the big cats & other animal species.

You may expect to see some animal actions like fighting, eating, hunting & even killing. After is lunch break & more game drive. You can return to the lodge early & enjoy lodges facilities then dinner, campfire & Overnight. One of this 2 days will be a full day game drive in the vast Serengeti plains.

DAY. 06:

Morning at Leisure – Fly to Zanzibar or Dar es Salaam or JRO

On this day, If you wish you can do another morning game drive in Serengeti until 10:00 hours then drive to Seronera air strip to catch your flight to Zanzibar at 11:00 hours arriving at Zanzibar airport around 14:15 hours, or to Dar es Salaam international airport or to Kilimanjaro international airport JRO.
